A calmer way to time contractions.

Tap when one starts. Tap when it ends. Contracker keeps the numbers, so you can keep breathing.

Closed, open or stood up.

On iPhone Duo, Contracker follows the way you hold it. One hand when it's closed. Two pages when it's open. A clock you can read from across the room when it stands on the table.

Contracker on a closed iPhone Duo: the Start orb, a note that the contractions look like 5-1-1, and the last contraction, spacing and count for the past hour.
Closed
Contracker on an open iPhone Duo: the past-hour chart and recent contractions on one page, the Start orb and the last contraction on the other.
Open
Contracker on an iPhone Duo stood up on a table: a large 0:33 timer with Breathe in beneath it, above the orb, which says Stop.

Breathe with it

While you time, the orb paces slow breaths: in for four, out for six. Turn it off whenever you like.

Contracker's Timer on an iPhone while a contraction is being timed: the orb at its fullest with a ring around it and the running clock inside, and the words Breathe in beneath it, above the past-hour numbers.

See the pattern

A two-hour chart shows how long they last and how far apart they are. Add one you missed, or fix a time later.

Contracker's History tab on an iPhone: a chart of the past hour's eleven contractions, about every 4:53 and lasting about 1:05, above today's list with each start time, spacing and length.

Know what you're feeling

An animated guide to contractions, Braxton Hicks, baby moving and more, and when to call your provider.

Contracker's Guide tab on an iPhone: an animated illustration of where a contraction is felt, a line beneath it showing how contractions follow a pattern, and chips for choosing what you feel.

Six ways to start and stop

Start and stop from the Dynamic Island, the Lock Screen, a widget, Control Center, the Action Button or Siri.

FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes. Contracker is free, with no in-app purchases.

Do I need an account?

No. Open it and tap the orb.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Your contractions stay on your iPhone, and deleting the app deletes them.

Which iPhones does it work on?

Any iPhone running iOS 27 or later. The Dynamic Island needs an iPhone that has one. On iPhone Duo it adapts to every way you hold it.

What does 5-1-1 mean?

Contractions about 5 minutes apart, lasting about 1 minute, for about 1 hour. Contracker shows a note when it sees that pattern, but your provider's advice comes first.

Is it a medical device?

No. It's a timer, and it doesn't diagnose anything.

Contracker is a timer, not medical advice. Follow your provider's guidance, and call them or emergency services if something feels wrong.
