Email hello@niomartinez.com. It helps to include your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings, General, About), what you expected, what happened, and a screenshot if you can. Crop out anything private.

Requirements

  • An iPhone running iOS 27 or later.
  • Optimized for iPhone Duo. On iPhone Duo it adapts to every way you hold it.
  • The Dynamic Island features need an iPhone that has a Dynamic Island.
  • Free, with no account and no in-app purchases.

Getting started

  1. Open Contracker. There is no account and no sign-in.
  2. Tap the orb when a contraction starts, and tap it again when it ends.
  3. Open History for the two-hour chart and your log, and Guide to learn about each sensation and when to call your provider.

Troubleshooting

The timer isn't showing in the Dynamic Island

Check that Show in Dynamic Island is on in the app's menu (the three dots), and that Live Activities is on for Contracker in your iPhone's Settings. Turning Show in Dynamic Island off hides the timer in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen.

I can't find the widget or the Control Center control

To add a widget, touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Contracker. For Control Center or the Action Button, add the Contraction Timer control.

I missed one, or a time is wrong

In History you can add a contraction you missed, and edit its time, length, intensity and note. You can also delete any contraction.

I forgot to stop it, or I'm going to bed

Use End session, the moon button beside Resting, when you go to sleep or the contractions have stopped. Undo is there if you change your mind.

The 5-1-1 note isn't showing

It appears when contractions have come about every 5 minutes, lasting about a minute, for about an hour, and it needs at least 10 of them. It is informational only, and your provider's advice comes first.

How do I turn off the breathing guide?

Open the app's menu and turn off Breathing guide. You can turn it back on whenever you like.

Delete your data and the app

Contracker keeps your contractions on your iPhone only. In History you can delete any contraction. To remove everything, delete the app: touch and hold the Contracker icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. Its data goes with it.

Privacy

Contracker collects no data. The details are in the privacy policy.

Medical advice

Contracker is a timer, not medical advice. Follow your provider's guidance, and call them or emergency services if something feels wrong.
